The Naked Green

I have not died, nor have I forgotten to bestow upon some poor unsuspecting soul the glorious Green Cite award.

We have come to the paragraph where I ramble on about random things to make it look like it has content and to bother the reader. Hey, it’s not like you can’t skip these sentences if you’re in that much of a hurry to find out the winner, but you’ll never know what you may have missed. Actually, if you’ve read up to this point, you haven’t missed much. So, with no effort at transition, the winner: Green Dezire “the personal blog of Andy Kettle, a web designer and developer from Worcester in the UK”! His love of green extends all the way into his eyes! With all the web design I’ve been involved in, I figured I would pick on a colleague. Congratulations on winning the award you never knew you wanted, Andy!

It’s time again for that award ceremony that touches your heart and tickles your knees. The award that plucks a blog from obscurity (or even fame) to…even more obscurity! Yes, it’s the not-so-famous-but-still-really-cool- because-it-wisely-uses-the- best-color-ever Green Cite. Bloggers the world over unknowingly compete for this honor and it’s time to bestow the second virtual trophy of wise color usage.

Once again, without further ado (except of course for the obligatory parenthesis to annoy the reader, belabor the point and work up suspense…again), I announce the winner: Ourgreenroom, “an interactive community of spiritual seekers”! Congratulations, Chris!

This is the first semi-regular (as opposed to weekly or daily or some sort of nonsense like that) “Green Cite”. It’s where I recognize bloggers with love for, or some sort of obsession with the wonderful color green. Ooh…ahh!

Of course my wife is going to win the first one with a title like that. I mean, she’s my wife after all. Her love for the color green is based more on her love for the person (Mr. Green), I think. Congratulations, Jamie!
